TeleMiracle Telethon

Safeway has been a sponsor of both the Kinsmen Foundation of Saskatchewan and TeleMiracle that province's major telethon for more than two decades. Together with our employees, customers and other partners, Safeway has donated in excess of $2 million to help support the needs of children throughout the province. Funds are collected through many special events including selling paper TeleMiracle hands, raffles and bake sales. Safeway and its employees are prominently featured during the telethon.

Buffalo Days

Regina's Buffalo Days is synonymous with Safeway stores in this community. In addition to providing the community with the opportunity to purchase advance tickets for the event at a discounted rate, Safeway and our employees are notably active on site. On the opening day, Safeway employees host a complimentary event that attracts thousands and includes free food, prizes, mascots galore and entertainment. Later in the week, Safeway's Managers host an event for the seniors of Regina, featuring old-time bands, cake, cookies, and lots of good old times.

Prairieland Exhibition

In Saskatoon, summer would not be summer without a visit to the Prairieland Exhibition and the cattle and car shows, displays and fun rides. Safeway has proudly played a part in this local tradition for decades, providing discounted advanced tickets and on-site values so that our customers don't miss any of the good times and great action.
