Zostavax™

Zostavax™ is a vaccine that is used for adults 60 years of age or older to prevent shingles. Shingles is a rash that is usually on one side of the body. The rash will often blister, can last up to 30 days and be painful. Zostavax™ works by helping your immune system protect you from getting shingles and the associated pain and other serious complications.

Health Tip Everyone over the age of 60 should receive a vaccination to help prevent shingles.
